Freedom Baptist Church Wetumpka had its grand opening on January 5, 2025. It was a great day, praise God. We ask all to come visit and hear God's Word from the King James Bible.

Services began on January 5, 2025, at 10:30 am.  Pastor Jim Lester preaches the message directly from the King James Bible.

Our independent Baptist church is a place where all people are welcome to share fellowship and hear God's Word. Church events include old fashion hymns and southern gospel pre-tribulation pre-millennial preaching.

CURRENT EVENTS INCLUDE:

• First Wednesday of each month beginning at 5:30 pm we will be enjoying a bring your dish meal for fellowship, followed by Bible Study and message at 6:30 pm.
• April 13, 2025, we now have a Nursery!
• April 13, 2025, Sunday Night Service begins at 5:00 pm.
• June 15, 2025, Donuts for Dads 9:00 am.
• June 15, 2025, Father's Day Recognition 10:30 am.
• June 22, 2025, Seth Johnson Team Arrives!
• June 23 thru 25, 2025 Vacation Bible School. Scroll down to the "Contact us for a Ride" section to get a ride to VBS!
• June 22-25, 2025, "Wetumpka for Christ" Tent Revival. Will feature Evening Youth Revival, Morning Vacation Bible School, 45 Teens from Oak Bowey Baptist Church Arkansas and Evangelist Seth Johnson preaching. Five (5) Bus routes will run the city of Wetumpka each day and all children will be given a free ride to and from service. Scroll down to the "Contact us for a Ride" section to get a ride to Revival!
• June 25, 2025, will be the Grand Finale, with lots of food, fun, and a GIANT Water Slide! Most of all, The Gospel will be preached in every service!
• June 29, 2025, Quarterly Business Meeting 5:00 pm.
• July 6, 2025, 4th July Independence Day NC style Hot Dogs 12:00 pm.
• July 6, 2025, Shields Family Missionaries to Mexico 5:00 pm.
