Freedom Baptist Church Wetumpka had its grand opening on January 5, 2025. It was a great day, praise God. We ask all to come visit and hear God's Word from the King James Bible.

Services began on January 5, 2025, at 10:30 am.  Pastor Jim Lester preaches the message directly from the King James Bible.

Our independent Baptist church is a place where all people are welcome to share fellowship and hear God's Word. Church events include old fashion hymns and southern gospel pre-tribulation pre-millennial preaching.

CURRENT EVENTS INCLUDE:

• Sunday Morning Service begins at 10:30 am. Pastor Jim Lester provides the message from the King James Bible. Beginning January 18, 2026, Sunday School will begin at 9:30 each Sunday Morning.
• Sunday Night Service begins at 5:00 pm. Pastor Jim Lester.
• Wednesday Night Prayer and Bible Study begin at 6:30 pm. Pastor Jim Lester teaches direct from the King James Bible. 
• First Wednesday of each month beginning at 5:30 pm we will be enjoying a bring your dish meal for fellowship, followed by Bible Study and message at 6:30 pm. 
• We have a Nursery for the little ones!
• Jan 18, 2026, 9:30 am Sunday School begins! Brother Jim Voss will be teaching.
• Mar 22, 2026, Missionary to the Congo at 5 pm.
• Apr 4, 2026, Egg Hunt and Cook-Out 11:00 am.
• Apr 5, 2026, Son-Rise Service 7:00 am. Our men will be cooking a Country Breakfast at 8:00 am. Our Sunday Morning Service will be early that day at 9:00 am. There will be no Evening Service.
