Freedom Baptist Church Wetumpka had its grand opening on January 5, 2025. It was a great day, praise God. We ask all to come visit and hear God's Word from the King James Bible.

Services began on January 5, 2025, at 10:30 am.  Pastor Jim Lester preaches the message directly from the King James Bible.

Our independent Baptist church is a place where all people are welcome to share fellowship and hear God's Word. Church events include old fashion hymns and southern gospel pre-tribulation pre-millennial preaching.

CURRENT EVENTS INCLUDE:

• Sunday Morning Service begins at 10:30 am. Pastor Jim Lester provides the message from the King James Bible.
• Sunday Night Service begins at 5:00 pm. Pastor Jim Lester.
• Wednesday Night Prayer and Bible Study begins at 6:30 pm. Paster Jim Lester teaches direct from the King James Bible. 
• First Wednesday of each month beginning at 5:30 pm we will be enjoying a bring your dish meal for fellowship, followed by Bible Study and message at 6:30 pm. 
• We have a Nursery for the little ones!
• Aug 6, 2025, The Turners Missionaries to West Africa 6:30 pm. This young Missionary family is currently on deputation and will be presenting their work here at Freedom on this Wednesday Evening Service. You do not want to miss them.
• Aug 10, 2025, Guest Preacher Pastor David Floyd from Marvyn Parkway Baptist Church in Opelika, AL, will be bringing the message to Freedom Baptist. We are so very pleased to have him visit us here at FBW.
• Aug 17, 2025, Blue Bell Ice Cream 5:00 pm (after service).
• Sept 7, 2025, is Round Up Sunday! We will be having a Cowboy theme/Chili Cookoff. Members will be bringing their best Chili for judging.
• Sept 26-28, 2025, Camp Meeting Revival with Guest Preacher Brother Seth Johnson from Oak Bowery Baptist Church, Conway, Arkansas. Please schedule to attend this special event!
