Freedom Baptist Church Wetumpka had its grand opening on January 5, 2025. It was a great day, praise God. We ask all to come visit and hear God's Word from the King James Bible.

Services began on January 5, 2025, at 10:30 am.  Pastor Jim Lester preaches the message directly from the King James Bible.

Our independent Baptist church is a place where all people are welcome to share fellowship and hear God's Word. Church events include old fashion hymns and southern gospel pre-tribulation pre-millennial preaching.

CURRENT EVENTS INCLUDE:

• Sunday Morning Sunday School at 9:30 am Bother Jim Voss is teaching the Bible!
• Sunday Morning Service begins at 10:30 am. Pastor Jim Lester provides the message from the King James Bible. 
• Sunday Evening Service begins at 5:00 pm. Pastor Jim Lester.
• Wednesday Evening Prayer and Bible Study begin at 6:30 pm. Pastor Jim Lester teaches direct from the King James Bible. 
• First Wednesday of each month beginning at 5:30 pm we will be enjoying a bring your dish meal for fellowship, followed by Bible Study and message at 6:30 pm. 
• We have a Nursery for the little ones!
• Sept 12, 2026, Men Soul Winning 10:30 am.
• Sept 13, 2026, Round Up Sunday 1 pm. The Wild Wild West is coming to FBW and a Chili Cook-Off contest for the best tasting and hottest chili. There will be pony rides for this event. Bring the kids for after service fun and fellowship! Wear you boots and hats for Round Up Sunday! 
• NOTE: Our Sunday services will begin later than usual on this Sunday the 13th. Services will resume at their regular times beginning Wednesday the 16th.
